Classic Series Ply:
Our 'standard' snare drums. 9 ply Vertical Grain shell with a total thickness of 5.4 mm.
Available in a wide choice of timbers, these snares have a balanced tone with plenty of body, warmth, and attack. They can be finished in any lacquer style, natural, stained, exotic veneer etc.

Prestige Ply:
Exclusive to Metro Drum Co., these start out as a single piece of solid timber. We 'hand cut' the board into 5 slices, that are then pressed under extreme tension in our custom molds. No steam or water is used.
Prestige Ply snare drums are very resonant and display 'solid shell' characteristics, with a big, singing tone, and characteristic bite.

Hybrid Prestige Ply:
Similar to the Prestige Ply shells but with two types of timber. Unique sounds and a classy, timeless look.

Solid Series Stave:
Our Stave drums are built using a fingerjointed construction. This method ensures a strong and stable shell that is more rigid and resonant than a block shell with simple butt joins.
Machined at a 1/2" thickness, our block snares have lots of body, tight and crisp snare responce, and a very quick tone.
Tuned up or down, they always project with a thick and woody character, and a 'gunshot' crack!
Available in a natural satin or gloss lacquer finish.
